I was born and raised in Ukraine. Ever since I was little, I'd watch my Dad take photos with his Zenit E and develop film in our bathroom – I still remember images magically appearing on white paper.

In the mid teens I got fond of photography myself. My parents gifted me with a semi-professional Canon. I carried it with me everywhere and arranged mini-fashion shoots for my sister and friends.

At the age of twenty-one I moved to Boston for school. I continued pursuing photography, as a side job. I did fashion shoots, family and maternity, small weddings and plenty of portraiture.

Once I received my degree in business, I moved to New York. I worked in a photo-studio in Chelsea, and did side projects for designers, models, stylists.

These days I reside and work in San Francisco.

In photography, I enjoy projects that challenge me creatively and psychologically. I look to be helpful and useful; to show beauty in people, places and moments; to connect and influence.
